IntoNow is Shazam meets GetGlue. What’s great is that check-in cheating is a no-no! Using their indexing platform, SoundPrint, you only need between 4-12 seconds of audio to make a match with a show. I gave it a try on Top Chef, where when I hit “Listen (TV icon),” only less than 5 words were said and a lot of random noises (laughs and pfttts) from various people were picked up. Quite an edge case huh? And it matched it correctly. So then I tried another edge case to give this app a run for its money: a Nuggets vs. Bucks game on ESPN – and it came up blank just launched the app again to give it a second try and NBA Basketball appeared in my stream. Based on a few minutes of playing around, I think this service has plenty of promise. Notice the Friends reference in the first and last name fields in the sign up screen?
